About the Film:
On January 30-31, the 48th anniversary of the Rolex 24-hour race will take place at Daytona International Speedway. This historic race consists of speed, endurance, team work, and drama. Many teams will try, only a few will finish, and only one will take home the honor of winning this prestigious race.
The effort it takes to run a GT prepared race car for 24 hours is not only a physical test of drivers but more than anything it is a test of the tenacity of every member of the team. This year Turner Motorsport, a household name in North American BMW racing, has risen for the first time to the many challenges on the road to the Rolex 24. Armed with a fire-breathing BMW Motorsport S62 engine in a Riley-built chassis, a dream team of drivers and a proven race crew, Turner Motorsport is looking to bring home the glory of victory at the Rolex 24.
Veloz Media is proud to announce a Webumentary Film covering the tremendous effort that this team has put into the campaign of the Rolex GT car for 2010. This production will take you behind closed doors to experience the process of preparing for and making it through such a race of endurance and perseverance. From interviews at their shop to test days, snow in Florida to blown out tires, Veloz Media has been there to cover it all. We will put you in the car with Boris Said, Bill Auberlen, Joey Hand and Paul Dalla Lana to feel all the excitement that the Turner Motorsport team brings to the Rolex 24.
